Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Geese are such funny creatures. The ones I have known tended to be very territorial and grumpy. These two came right up to me not timid in the least. To get a good look at me they turned their heads sideways. Apparently, they don't see as well when they look at you head on. The title of this painting came to me as I was working and I saw the simlarities between it and the famous painting by Grant Wood - the two geese side by side with very stern expressions. It just seemed natural to call it "Barnyard Gothic".
